The National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting is the industry’s independent, regulatory body covering the whole of the United Kingdom. The NICEIC’s sole purpose is to protect customers from unsafe and unsound work.

NICEIC contractors are assessed every year to check that their work meets the national safety standard BS 7671 (the IEE Wiring Regulations) and other relevant technical standards.
